This week's Heart to Heart project is to Create a card or other project for someone you are grateful for. This card is a little early, but I will be ready to deliver it in May. This was made for my mother-in-law, who at 83 years old and having health issues, is still so strong and brave, and always thinking of others.
For this card I used the following Close to My Heart products:
Stamp Sets: (D1368) Tickled Pink, (D1306) Treasure Life, (D1283) Say it in Style
Challenge 4 At Exploring Cricut- I just came across this blog and realized this is a perfect place to share my Thanksgiving project. More Than FavorsWacky Wednesday #59 is a Thanksgiving Theme. I usually do not make cards for Thanksgiving, but I had the idea to make name cards for the table for all my guests. I used my Cricut Cartridge Create A Critter to make the Turkeys and Plantin Schoolbook for the Names. The turkeys are attached with wobbles for added fun! Here is a group of the cards:
This week the Challenge on the Close To My Heart Challenge Blog is to incorporate something metal into your project. I made this Mini Scrapbook for my daughter. She just bought her first house and I thought this would be perfect for the "Moving Day" pictures. I used the "Sweet Home" Paper Pack and My Stickease. The cover has a metal "key" to represent the key to the house.
I made this card for the Close To My Heart Challenge Blog . It is a color challenge using the colors Autumn Terracotta, Juniper and Bamboo. The stamp sets I used are B1116 - The Beauty of Christmas and A1115 - A Holiday.
This Christmas Card is for the Wacky Wednesday #58 Challenge over at More Than Favors. It's a B.B.B Challenge.. Buttons, Bling or Brads. You must incorporate at least 1 of these in your project. I chose to use Brads on my card. The paper, stamps and ink I used are from Close To My Heart.
Deadline for this Challenge is 11:59pm PST Tuesday November 15th.
